I have levelled cooking to ~430 on Soonti… but never gotten around to doing it at all on any other toon. Then when Pilgrim’s bounty started yesterday, I noticed that you could level cooking to 300… for virtually nothing! The five recipes you need to cook for the achievements are learned from level 1 to 280, but thy still orange to cook until you can learn the next… so if you haven’t levelled cooking, you can travel between the three cities to collect the materials you need, and then simply level… there is even a cooking trainer at the festival so you can level your cooking up without leaving! You can only take advantage of this for a week… so get in quick!
Now they need to do the same for fishing!

Well the guild has survived last weeks turbulence, however we are now short a main tank for our 10 man group.
This means no raiding (at least of the hard stuff) for the foreseeable future. I took the opportunity that a day off on Tuesday presented (Melbourne Cup Public Holiday FTW!) to run some old stuff with some guildy’s alts. I finally downed Naxx… except for just three bosses damn it! So I still need to get back through Naxx with Rohman one last time, to finally get Saph and KT down so I can get that ticked off the list. I managed to pick up enough crusader emblems to get my T8 chest, and also picked up an upgrade to ring and helm while I was at it… so easy content helped me out!
The best part of the last week, is that my SO has started playing WoW. We managed to get her Huntard up to 17 before she called it quits… but has asked a few times since if we are playing tonight… so not raiding might have its upside! She does keep worrying that her pet will get hurt… so maybe a hunter was the wrong choice!
So a week of ups and downs, but all in all I think the ups are winning… don’t you!

It’s funny, but I have read a number of blogs about guild break ups, and always thought it wouldn’t happen to me.
Guess I was wrong.
Critical hasn’t quite folded yet, but it seems to be in its death throes. Waiting anxiously to see if our GM has the will to fix things, or if she will just let it go.
If (as I fear) it is over, then I need to start guild hunting again, which is one of the more painful aspects of the game for me. So much of the wow-world is populated with jerks (yes NSB I’m talking about you again!) that I wonder if it’s even worth trying to find another guild.
Or perhaps I’ll just get back to leveling my alt’s!
